About us
We at axmann geoinformation are data management and FME experts and use specialised tools to automatically provide the available data for business processes in order to achieve the greatest possible benefit for our customers. We maintain collaborative customer relationships and are the selected outsourcing partner in the area of data management for GIS experts and IT departments within organisations.
Furthermore, we are the only reseller of the FME platform in Austria authorized by Safe Software. We have been able to use the know-how we have acquired over the past 20 years in numerous projects and are happy to make it available to our customers both in the form of services and training.
Our customers include public administration institutions, companies in the energy supply, transport and infrastructure sectors, as well as civil engineers and software consultancies.
Data with high purchase and usage value requires tailor-made software solutions: axmann geoinformation designs data models for GIS applications, creates feasibility studies, specifications and tenders and sells the licenses for the necessary software.
We have a wide range of system and product knowledge and are experts in dealing with Austrian and international data sources, data models, formats and standards.
We are used to understanding our customers' heterogeneous system world and developing individual solutions. Our customers are users of products from AED-SICAD, Autodesk, ESRI, GE Network Solutions, Intergraph, Mapinfo, etc.
Of course, we also offer data acquisition (digitization of existing analog data) in the required structure and in any format.
Digital geodata has become an integral part of the daily workflow of the state administration. The trend is towards “quality” over “quantity”, and further digitalization of work processes creates space for human resources for those areas of activity where “human know-how” is needed, i.e. digitalization cannot replace people (e.g. Project management, support, etc.).
The axmann employees have done a great job in digitizing. A total of 600 train stations were renovated in just four months. All necessary routes and POIs such as lifts, access to parking spaces, etc. were digitized from a variety of plans, lists, orthophotos and basemap.at.
Thanks to a flexible hourly quota, we were able to access the axmann team's resources easily and as needed. Due to the proximity between the development team of the rmDATA GIS products and the many years of FME know-how from axmann, the solution could be implemented professionally and efficiently. In addition to optimizing existing FME processes, this included installing the FME server and rmDATA GeoDB provider and connecting the workflow to GeoWeb via the API.
